About Yolanda

Yolanda Carolina is a young artist whose practice moves fluidly between the page, the body, and the stage.

She began with drawing — detailed, emotional illustrations that explore myth, identity, and the quiet intensity of the human form. From there her work expanded into costume design and special effects makeup, disciplines that allow her to bring characters fully into the physical world.

Whether she is sketching a concept, constructing a wearable piece, or transforming a face into something otherworldly, Yolanda approaches every project with the same curiosity and precision. Her work is rooted in storytelling: each drawing, costume, and makeup look is a fragment of a larger narrative waiting to be lived.

What she creates

  • Drawings & illustration — original artwork, concept sketches, and finished pieces
  • Costume art — handcrafted costumes and wearable sculptures for performance, photography, and film
  • Special FX makeup — character and creature looks, prosthetics, and transformative beauty

Yolanda is available for commissions, collaborations, and special projects. If you have a story that needs a face, a form, or a drawing, she would love to hear from you.
